We are looking to hire an amazing Event & Sales Coordinator immediately! This is a full-time position, with an annual salary. The Events & Sales Coordinator will work from our studio in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
The position involves:
Please email an introduction about yourself, a copy of your resume, and why you are interested in this position to email@example.com. Please also include three pictures of floral arrangements/installations that inspire you somehow. Visual work samples are also highly encouraged (presentations, mood-boards, sketches, photography, etc) if available. Important: please use the subject line “Event & Sales coordinator". Salary will be based on experience.
We will only respond to applications that meet the above requirements, please no phone calls. Although the position is in a floral studio the role does not involve actual flower arranging. Also, we are not a flower shop but specialize in large scale events and installations.
On May 27th, the Tin Can Studios team will be setting up a flower shop for the day at West Elm Dumbo where we will sell various sized flower arrangements and plants. Get yourself a pre-made bouquet or choose a vase and style and we will make an arrangement custom for you while we teach you basic flower arranging techniques.
For those interested in learning more about approachable ways to arrange flowers, I will also be selling and signing my book "Handpicked".
In addition, we will be selling flowers by the stem and vases (+ chicken wire or tape) to those who want to try making their own arrangement based on a recipe from the book.
Hope to see you at West Elm then! / Ingrid
P.S. All proceeds will go to Arbor Day Foundation
With all the events coming up in conjunction with the launch of my book "Handpicked" I wanted to share a list with the events that are open to everyone. Links to register below each event!
