VMFA - FLORAL PRESENTATION – Tin Can Studios

We are so honored to announce that Ingrid will be doing a floral presentation at the Virgina Museum of Fine Arts on October 24, 2024.

Fine Arts & Flowers 2024 is a museum-wide exhibition of floral designs inspired by works of art in VMFA’s permanent collection.

The celebration begins with a gala and preview of more than 70 floral interpretations throughout the museum. Other special events include talks from renowned florists Robbie Honey and Canaan Marshall, VMFA curators, luncheons, floral design workshops, exhibition tours, a fashion show, and a variety of family activities.

Previous speakers include Kiana Underwood of Tulipina, Susan McLeary of Passion Flower Sue, Ariella Chezar of Ariella New York and Shane Connolly.

Proceeds from  Fine Arts & Flowers sponsorships and ticket sales will support the ongoing research, development, and installation of exhibitions at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

Held biennially since 1987, Fine Arts & Flowers 2024 is presented by The Council of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts with creative floral designs by Garden Club of Virginia, Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs, and Ikebana of Richmond.

The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is among the largest art museums in North America for area of exhibition space.
