  • LARGE SCALE INSTALLATION CLASS

Click here to register (click through to March once you are on the FlowerSchool site).

So extremely thrilled to announce that I will be teaching two Master Classes at FlowerSchool New York on March 18 (followed by a book launch party on March 19). In one of the classes I will be showing how to create floral installs using chicken wire, flower tubes and eco wraps (such as the ones from Eco Fresh Bouquet).

These methods require a bit more planning but as a bonus they are less harmful for the environment (by reducing the use of floral foam). We will also discuss and share various ways to re-use the flowers and/or plants after an event.

I will also be teaching a Master Class where you will learn how to create a signature design from my new book Handpicked. I will tell you more about that class in the next few days!
In addition, all of the install work will stay up until the next day = March 19, when Flower School will be hosting a free(!) book launch party, with wine and light fare.

Please follow this link to register for all three of the above (click through to March once you are on the site).

Here also a description for the install Master Class from FlowerSchool New York:
"Tin Can Studios has a renowned ability for large-scale installations from living walls, to hanging floral chandeliers—their work is always impressive and inspiring. In this session, students will assist Ingrid in the development and installation of two to three large-scale projects within the FlowerSchool New York space. Here, students will learn the process and mechanics for conceptualizing and implementing these larger projects that Tin Can Studios is so recognized and celebrated for. Ingrid will begin the workshop with a slideshow and Q&A of her past work. Class is limited to 16 participants. Instructor: Ingrid Carozzi."

P.S. The list of Master Floral Designers teachers @flowerschoolny is impressive to say the least Lewis Miller, Emily Thompson, Matthew Robbins, Sullivan Owen, Oscar Mora, to name a few. I encourage all of you flower lovers to look at other upcoming classes as well! They are very fairly priced and you get to use a lot of flowers. Huge thanks to Cal Crary for all of your support ever since the get-go!
